Homestead Hamlets was a working concept introduced in class at the University of
Nebraska–Lincoln. Homestead Hamlets is a local project to build relationships and unite neighborhoods through community gardens.

These gardens are meant to bring together neighbors working toward a common goal of producing fresh ingredients, to be shared
by the whole neighborhood. As a graphic designer for this project I created a logo as well as a mobile app. Designs were
influenced by the welcoming mood of a community united, as well as colors reflecting fresh and earthy produce.
The mobile app allowed neighbors to connect across a map of the neighborhood and organize produce through chat.
